Bowater Projects has received exceptional resident feedback after completing an extensive window and door replacement programme for Vale of Glamorgan Council.
According to Bowater Projects, 99% of tenants agreed that the company had delivered on a whole range of customer care commitments during the works, which saw over 3,000 PVC-U windows and doors installed in 400 homes over a nine-month period.
The council has now extended Bowater Projects’ contract for another year to improve a further 500 homes in a bid to meet the requirements of the Welsh Housing Quality Standard.
Mike Ingram, Council Operational Manager (Public Sector Housing), said: “Residents confirmed that all Bowater Projects’ employees had been polite and courteous, that installers had left their homes clean and tidy, and that they had received clear operating instructions for their new windows and doors.
”Based on this outstanding commitment to resident care and quality, together with our own post-work inspection findings, we have extended the contract with Bowater Projects to continue on with our improvement programme and bring all our homes up to the Welsh Housing Quality Standard.”
